About us

We are a small family-run business located in a historic and characteristic area of the Carso region, in Prepotto.

 

About 20 years ago, I gave up everything to work the old family vines, once tended to by my father Carlo and my grandfather Palmino.

In 2006, with the help of my father and friends, we restored the family farmhouse, an old stone-roofed stable dating back to the 18th century, and in 2010 we started the restaurant business following the osmiza formula, offering our local products.

 

Currently, the company owns nearly 4 hectares of vineyards from which three different types of wine are produced: Vitovska, Malvasia, and Terrano, as well as an extensive breeding of about 30 pigs that live semi-freely in the hills of the Carso.
